Leonard E. Krog, B.A., LL.B.

Called to the BC bar in 1980, Leonard first attended Malaspina College and graduated from the University of Victoria in 1975 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. Leonard went on to complete his Law Degree from the University of British Columbia Law School in 1979 and then to article with the memorable Nanaimo firm of Strongiharm Currie and Company. In addition to his law practice, Leonard serves the public as a Member of Legislative Assembly for Nanaimo.

Leonard’s political advocacy dates back to his youth, and he was first elected as a Member of the Legislature in 1991. Leonard has served both Nanaimo and the Parksville/Qualicum area as an MLA. A strong believer in public service, Leonard supports numerous local community charities and public events. Leonard was previously the Chair of United Way, President of the Mid-Island Consumer Co-Op, and President of the Nanaimo Branch of Planned Parenthood.

Sharon K. Krog, B.Ed, LL.B.

In her more than 30-year career as a lawyer and advocate, Sharon has incorporated hundreds of companies. Starting at the University of Victoria to earn her Bachelor of Education degree in 1976, Sharon went on to complete her law degree at the University of British Columbia in 1981. It was during law school that Sharon and Leonard married and went on to raise two children. Sharon’s public service includes her involvement as a founding Director of the Oceanside Rotary and a past volunteer for Nanaimo’s Meals on Wheels program.

Parker Krog, B.A., J.D.

Parker was called to the BC bar in 2012 after articling at the Vancouver office of a large national law firm. He graduated from Vancouver Island University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography, and went on to study law at the University of Victoria. Shortly after qualifying as a lawyer, Parker moved to Tokyo, Japan where he worked as a legal headhunter and married his wife, Shoko. He has since returned Nanaimo in order to work alongside his parents in the family practice.
